Forward your Office Phone

If you are expected to continue working from home and expect phone calls to your office phone, you can forward your phone to your cellphone if desired.

To forward your office phone from your work phone:

  • Click the “Forward All” button on your office phone (you will hear a two-tone beep)
    • Local Numbers:  Type 9 then enter the 9-digit phone number you wish to forward your phone to. (Your office phone is now forwarded to that phone number)
    • Long Distance:  Type 9, then 1 , then the 10 digit phone number.
  • To remove call forwarding - Click Forward Off

If you have already left campus you can set your phone up to forward through the Call Manager:

You can change your Voice Mail messages as well:

·         From your phone on campus: 

o   Press the Envelope Button on the phone and enter your PIN followed by the # sign

o   Navigate through the Automated Attendant to modify your default messages

§  Contact the ITS Helpdesk if you need to reset your PIN

 

·         From off-campus:

o   Dial 859-238-5555,

o   When you hear the welcome message, press *, then your extension

o   You’ll be prompted to enter your PIN followed by #

o   Navigate through the Automated Attendant to modify your default messages

§  Contact the ITS Helpdesk if you need to reset your PIN

If you do not wish to forward your phone, you will still receive voicemails left on your phone. They will be delivered to your email inbox as they are now.
